March 2022 Funding Opportunities 

 

1) Hello Alice -WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH- $10K Grants for Female Founders

KKR is pleased to support small businesses owned by women. KKR has already awarded 278 small businesses with $10,000 grants through its Small Business Builders program, and you could be next!
 
The Program
KKR Small Business Builders has an emphasis on companies that are pivoting their business in response to the pandemic and are providing important community services. For the seventh round of the program, KKR is pleased to support small businesses with female founders.
 

Eligibility

  • Be owned (51%+) by a woman or woman-identifying individual
  • Be a for-profit business operating in at least one of the following countries: Australia, China, England, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, and/or the United States
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) employees and a maximum of fifty (50) employees
  • Must have annual gross revenues in 2021 of less than $7 million USD
  • Applications for the KKR Small Business Builders Grant Program for Female Founders opened March 8, 2022, at 9 a.m. ET and will close on April 22, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET.

2) Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women

Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women has launched Black Women Impact (BWI) – an open call for applications to provide $10 million in grants to Black women-led nonprofits.

The Program

  • Funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation, Black Women Impact (BWI) Grants will support community-driven charitable nonprofit organizations created by and for Black women and girls. As part of the One Million Black Women initiative, our goal is to positively impact the lives of at least one million Black women by 2030.
  • 50 Black women-led organizations will receive general operating funding ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 over two years.
  • Funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation, BWI Grants will support community-driven charitable nonprofit organizations created by and for Black women and girls whose work aligns with one or more of the OMBW impact areas: Healthcare, Job Creation and Workforce Advancement, Education, Housing, Digital Connectivity, Financial Health, and Access to Capital.

Eligibility

  • Tax exempt status as a U.S. public charity under Section 501(c)(3)

  • Average annual operating budget between $250,000 – $1 million

  • Black women in positions of organizational and/or programmatic leadership

  • Formed under United States law and operating in the United States

  •  Clear focus on serving Black women and girls
  • The deadline is March 11th 2022,  so don’t wait to apply!

3) Small Business Progress Loan

Are you a Black business owner in need of growth capital? The Small Business Progress Loan¹ from nonprofit lender Accion Opportunity Fund might be a good fit for you and your business. Offering loans ranging from $5,000 – $100,000, this program offers fair and transparent terms to help you take your small business to new heights. Your rate and the amount you may be approved for are dependent on your credit and financial standing.

  • 12+ months in business
  • $50K+ in annual sales
  • 20%+ ownership

4) Ifundwomen x Clearco

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’ve partnered with Clearco on a special edition of ClearPitch—an exclusive data-driven pitch competition for the boldest, most innovative female founders and women-owned businesses in the online space!

The Program

  • $25,000 USD
  • A $5,000 USD credit on top of first Clearco capital advance
  • Closed door private session with the Estée Lauder New Incubation Ventures Team

  • One year of educational services & resources from IFundWomen

Eligibility

  • In order to qualify, please fill out the full application and ensure your sales & marketing accounts are connected during or shortly after sign-up. Your participation is dependent on the number of applicants we receive, your online performance data, and the judges we have on the panel each episode.
  • Open to all e-commerce businesses generating at least $10K in monthly online revenue
  • Apply now pitching competition will be held on Friday, March 18th2pm – 3:30pm EST
